Assessment
in each module consists of two parts: an exercise Portfolio designed to develop
technical competence in the associated skills and an independent Project
designed to develop independent learning and the ability to apply the technical
skills to an academic or business end.
The
focus of this unit is on the process of achieving efficient and effective
results in the practical application of competencies more than on the finished
files and submissions themselves. Consequently, students are expected and
required to demonstrate their developing competencies on an on-going basis
during tutorial time.
